Our Projects – Cadburys

Among the many projects completed for Cadbury, the most notable was the decommissioning of the Tallaght plant and the assistance provided in relocating its equipment to Europe. This complex undertaking required careful planning and execution to ensure that machinery and infrastructure were dismantled, transported, and reinstalled efficiently, while minimizing disruption to operations. ACF’s expertise in managing large-scale industrial transitions was key to the success of this relocation.

Coolock
For many years, Advanced Construction and Fitouts (ACF) provided ongoing maintenance and construction services to Cadbury Ireland at their facilities in Coolock and Tallaght. This long-term partnership reflected ACF’s ability to deliver reliable, high-quality support for one of Ireland’s most recognized manufacturing brands. The collaboration continued until Cadbury relocated its Tallaght plant operations to Poland, marking the end of a significant chapter in their Irish presence.

The project involved full-cycle delivery of a comprehensive construction solution, encompassing planning, site preparation, structural works, fitout, and final commissioning. Acting as both Main Contractor and PSCS, ACF oversaw every aspect of the process, from design coordination and subcontractor management to strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
